About Alaska Radiologic Allied Health Jobs
Radiologic Allied Health jobs are regulated by the Alaska Medical Board. The State Medical Board of Alaska adopts regulations to carry out the laws governing the practice of Medicine in Alaska. It makes final licensing decisions and takes disciplinary action against medical professionals practicing in Alaska who violate the licensing laws.
The Cath Lab at Providence uses state of the art equipment for invasive,
interventional and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures. The Staff RN assists
physicians in the labs using a variety of specialized equipment, monitors,
devices and supplies. Knowledgeable in Cardiac, Vascular and Pediatric
Procedural practice as well as emergent techniques/protocol. Assists with pre
and post procedure monitoring per hospital protocol.
Required Skills:
Successful candidates will possess recent experience circulating, providing
critical care in a fast paced environment. Scrub experience preferred. Must have
experience with invasive Cardiovascular practices/techniques, basic EKG
analysis, and emergency protocols.
Must be a graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing. Two years
Registered Nurse experience in an acute care hospital preferred. Licensed as a
Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska required. Must be able to read, write,
and speak English.
