The candidate will coordinate written, verbal, and technological communications from the Nursing Units, while providing a hospital wide transport service. Duties include assisting with Radiology procedures and workflow coordination, in conjunction with the Radiologist and Radiology technical personnel. Performs initial screening of physician’s orders, checking for completeness and accuracy. Prioritizes tasks to help optimize patient care and flow through the department.
Requires high school graduate or equivalent, successful completion of CHRMC Radiology RA training program within 3 months of hire, and current CPR Certification for infant, child, and adult. Prefers College Degree (AA), at least 1 year experience in a health care setting or related field, at least 1 year experience in direct patient contact situations, and customer service skills.
