Position Summary:
The CT Imaging Specialist provides quality diagnostic imaging services with a patient focused approach. The technologist will demonstrate knowledge in the current concepts of his/her field(s) performing at a level of competence that allows independent thought and action. Applies critical thinking to managing patients, assuring appropriate care based on patient needs using age specific assessment, communications, and knowledge of physical and mental capabilities.
Education & Experience:
Candidates must be graduates of an approved school in one of the disciplines detailed in job description. RT/CT Technologist experience performing a wide variety of procedures required. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
Qualifications & Certifications:
• Registered in Diagnostic Radiology and/or CT and licensed in Delaware.
• CPR certified
• Flexible, willing to work in various specialties and clerical areas.
• Willing to perform non-traditional functions, remaining within general scope of practice.
• Self-directed
Weekend and holidays are required. May be required to work various shifts based on the demands of the department. On call hours are required in CT.
