Nursing Project Coordinator RN – Radiology

In this role, you will provide project management analysis, recommendations, and decision support for a broad array of complex clinical nursing and patient care issues. You will also provide subject matter expertise to teams chartered to address and develop recommendations for current/future operations and clinical processes/services. In addition, you will promote internal and external communications and will manage the project team, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications include:

  • At least three years of experience in management and/or project management/operational planning
  • A BSN or bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as management, organization development, health services administration); a master’s degree preferred
  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • A current California RN license
  • Specific subject matter expertise in health care operations, care delivery, and clinical processes
  • Experience tracking detailed quality metrics
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone for follow up with patients
  • The demonstrated ability to conceive, plan, and manage team-based projects
  • Knowledge of Breast Imaging, MQSA standards preferred
  • Knowledge of health care industry strategic business issues, with an understanding of Kaiser Permanente, it’s operations, social and legal environment
  • Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other local, state, and federal regulations
  • The ability to travel to outlying medical office buildings as needed
  • The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
