Academic Emergency Radiologist

The Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock in Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained, multi-modality radiologist for an overnight emergency radiology service.
This full-time faculty position is for an individual with a strong interest in teaching and/or research. Responsibilities will include performance and interpretation of the full range of emergency imaging studies including neuroradiology studies, MRI, ultrasound and the supervision of minor procedures. The Emergency Radiology Section will be actively supervising and teaching radiology residents, medical students and learners from other departments. The section will also be responsible for the Emergency Radiology Curriculum. A focus on high quality clinical work and service is paramount. The position requires the radiologists to be on-site in Lebanon, NH. The individual hired will work one week on and two weeks off, with occasional daytime shifts.
The successful candidate will join an academic practice with more than 30 radiologists. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is the only academic medical center in New Hampshire, providing tertiary care services for our region, and serving as the only Level 1 trauma center in the state. Facilities include four state-of-the-art CT scanners, five clinical MR scanners including two Siemens Skyra 3.0T systems and a GE Discovery 750 3.0T system.
Academic rank is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
