Interventional Radiology jobs are regulated by the California Medical Board. We invite you to join our Interventional Radiology and Imaging team as a part-time Interventional Radiologist. This part-time opportunity will help provide vacation and sick-time coverage, about 10-20 weeks a year, at our Encino and Rancho Mirage interventional radiology and imaging centers. As a staff Interventional Radiologist you’ll work with our team of highly knowledgeable Radiologists, perform outpatient IR procedures, and interpret some general radiology (i.e. plain films and ultrasounds). In this position you'll perform outpatient IR procedures, such as:
- AV Fistula, AV PTA & AV Thrombectomy/Thrombolysis Hemodialysis.
- Catheter Placement & Removal.
- Abdominal Aortagram with Runoff, SFA Angioplasty, and Iliac Stent.
- Renal Angiogram with PTA renal artery & intravascular stenting.
- Pasport Insertion & Removal (Peripheral & Chest Implantation Central Venous Access).
- Discogram
- Lumbar Puncture
- Epidural Block
- Facet Block
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- CT & Ultrasound Guided Biopsies (Lung/Mediastinum, Bone, Abdominal, Lymph Node, Liver & Thyroid).
- Hysterosalpingogram
These state of the art multi-modality facilities, which are apart of our large network of well-established imaging centers in southern California, perform Interventional Radiology and imaging procedures.
This is an excellent and challenging career opportunity, which requires an experienced and knowledgeable Radiologist with Board Certification, CA State Licensure, an X-ray Supervisor Permit, and CAQ Certification in IR.
