About Interventional Radiology Jobs
Interventional radiology (IR) is a subspecialty of medical imaging that specializes in minimally invasive procedures with the use of fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and ultrasound. Some procedures are for diagnostic purposes like angiograms, while others are done for treatment such as angioplasties.

Practice exclusively at a 489-bed teaching hospital home to a level III trauma distinction. The hospital boasts multiple Centers of Excellence including Women’s Health, Pediatrics and NICU, Trauma/Emergency department, Mental Health and Heart. Radiology has recently added a brand new 3T magnet, nucmed camera and angio suite. In addition to these upgrades the hospital has made plans for a new 64-slice CT and upgraded PACS to be installed by the end of the year.
