Private practice of five serving eastern Pennsylvania seeks two radiologists. The first need is a generalist/IR person that can do IVC filter placement; percutaneous nephrostomy; diagnostic angiogram; image guided biopsy and drainage procedures; central venous access; dialysis catheter placement; and graft declot/venoplasty. Fellowship NOT required but must be comfortable with these procedures. Second hire can either be IR plus mammo or MRI plus mammo. Call is one week night until 7 pm – that is when nighthawk kicks in and weekend call is 1:5, you must go into hospital Saturday to about 3 pm and then read from home until 7 pm and Sunday you go in but for just a few hours and then read from home. There is digital mammo equipment and breast MRI capabilities, Modern ACS system and voice recognition technology. They offer a competitive salary, full benefits including health, malpractice and 401(k). Salary is based on productivity, for an income of 350k new rad must do 60 to 80 RVU’s per day – or 80 to 100 cases per a typical day. This is an employed position with malpractice, health insurance and 8 weeks vacation.
