Sunny, friendly and an hour from San Francisco!
Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Santa Rosa, California
Location: Wine Country, an Hour North of S.F.
Position Type: Full Time Regular
Start Date: June 2008 or after
We are looking for radiologists to help with our growing department. Mammography and non-angio interventional experience is essential, although a mammography fellowship is a definite plus. We have a full PACS environment with paperless workflow. We have 64 slice and 16 slice CT, two 1.5T MRI scanners, all digital mammography with prone table stereotactic and vacuum assisted biopsy. Mobile PET/CT will start soon. Nighthawk is 10 pm to 7 am, 7 days a week. We recently opened a new outpatient building with a large imaging component. We have a group of 12 radiologists with diverse skills and experience who work together well. We are in the middle of California's wine country. ----- Santa Rosa offers an unusually wonderful climate, even in comparison to most of California. 10 months or so of almost continuous daily sunshine and dry air with cool nights. Winter is mild, with two months or so of sunshine interspersed with rain. The ocean is 30 minutes away. The Santa Rosa vicinity is surprisingly varied and rich in terms of cultural events, restaurants, etc., well beyond what would generally be expected in a city of its size. This is a very family oriented community. ----- The compensation package includes unusually excellent retirement plans, other benefits, and the opportunity for long-term career growth and potential shareholder status.
