About Colorado Mammography Jobs
Mammography jobs are regulated by the Colorado Medical Board. The Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners is responsible for the regulation of physicians and physician assistants practicing in the state of Colorado under the Medical Practice Act. A subspecialized group of 65 radiologists, 50 who are partners, 7 on partnership track, and the remainder employees, is recruiting a mammographer to perform 50-100% breast imaging to replace a retiring partner. The group covers 7 hospitals and several imaging centers.
Currently they are performing: Breast MR, MR guided biopsies, Core and Vacuum assisted biopsies under stereotactic and US guidance, Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms, Ductography, Galactography, Breast PET, RF and alcohol ablations, fine needle aspirations, needle loc’s with MR, US, and Mammographic devices.
The group is offering one of three scenarios in regards to compensation and partnership track.
Benefits include: Malpractice, 8 weeks vacation (plus 20 additional days) partners receive 10 weeks. Full family medical insurance, Dental, Life, Disability, $2500 for secondary insurance (after 2 years), Fully funded retirement, $11,500 for CME (Partners receive $23,000), $25,000 sign on bonus/relocation package.
