Diagnostic Radiologist needed


A group of 6 radiologists (all partner's) are looking to replace a retiring radiologist. They cover 2 hospitals totaling over 330 beds. They have great relationships with the administrations and have been with the hospitals for over 40 years. They read about 75-100 cases per day.

They are currently reading MR, MRA, CT, CTA, MSK, Neuro, Peds, US, Fluoro, Nucs, Plain films, Mammo, basic IR (biopsies, drainages, thora's, para's, etc...), and some arthrograms. Equipment includes: CT- 2 Toshiba 4-slice and are adding a 64-slice at the end of 2008; MR- GE and Phillips; US- 3 Accuson units and 3 GE units; they will be digital on Mammo end of 2008. They are fully PACS integrated.

The general call pool is: 1:3 on the weekends (8a-5p) and 1:6 on the weekdays, which is back-up to nighthawk (7p-7a Mon-Sun). Also, the post call day is off.

Initial income is around $350K and it is only 6 months until partnership with no buy-in!! Partners are making in excess of $500K. Vacation time is 8 weeks plus post call day off from day one (equal to partners).
