Mammography jobs are regulated by the Texas Medical Board. The Texas Medical Board is the state agency responsible for the licensure and discipline of Texas physicians (M.D.'s and D.O.'s). The Board's mission is to protect the public's health, safety, and welfare by regulating the practice of medicine and ensuring quality health care for the citizens of Texas. Group is taking on a new hospital contract and seeks two additional Radiologists. Fellowship training in Body Imaging, Mammography, Interventional Radiology or Neuroradiology is desired. May consider a strong General Radiologist. Mammo is required for all except Interventional Radiologists. Practice 50%+ of your modality. State of the art equipment including PACS, two 64-slice CT, nine 1.5 Tesla MRI. General call is 1:10 weekdays and 1:4 weekends. Separate IR call is 1:5 weeks. Call is via telerad from home. Nighthawk starts at 9pm M-F and 3pm on weekends. Starting salary is $300 - 350K with a one year partnership track. Malpractice, eight weeks of vacation, health, dental, LTD and life insurance and 401K. Relocation is negotiable. Live where others vacation right on the Gulf of Mexico.
