About Mammography Jobs
Mammography is a system that produces breasts images using a low-dose x-ray system. Viewing of the images can be done in various formats such as film at a view box or on a digital mammography work station. Mammography plays an important role in early detection of breast cancers because it can show changes in breasts up to two years before it can be felt.
Current guidelines recommend mammography screening every year for women, beginning at age 40. However women who have had breast cancer and those who are at increased risk of breast cancer should seek expert medical advice when they should begin mammograms and about the frequency of screening. Medquest Associates, Inc. is looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial, BC General Radiologist for our Diagnostic Imaging Centers in the Upstate SC area. Strong background in women's imaging is highly preferred.
The centers are staffed with an experienced, courteous, customer service driven team of professionals that will allow you to focus on providing quality radiology service in Women's Imaging services, XR, Fluoro, CT/MRI and building a strong reputation with the referring physician community
