About Mammography Jobs
Mammography is a system that produces breasts images using a low-dose x-ray system. Viewing of the images can be done in various formats such as film at a view box or on a digital mammography work station. Mammography plays an important role in early detection of breast cancers because it can show changes in breasts up to two years before it can be felt.
Current guidelines recommend mammography screening every year for women, beginning at age 40. However women who have had breast cancer and those who are at increased risk of breast cancer should seek expert medical advice when they should begin mammograms and about the frequency of screening. Women's Imager - 100%
This group requires a Fellowship Trained Mammographer with strong skills in all aspects of breast imaging and intervention, including breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsy. The work is done in a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary breast center. Interested candidates could opt for a Mammo-only partnership track with no general call as an option. Position could also be a combination of breast imaging and general imaging. The Pacific Northwest offers great recreation, great restaurants and great arts.
