About Mammography Jobs
Mammography is a system that produces breasts images using a low-dose x-ray system. Viewing of the images can be done in various formats such as film at a view box or on a digital mammography work station. Mammography plays an important role in early detection of breast cancers because it can show changes in breasts up to two years before it can be felt.
Current guidelines recommend mammography screening every year for women, beginning at age 40. However women who have had breast cancer and those who are at increased risk of breast cancer should seek expert medical advice when they should begin mammograms and about the frequency of screening. Radiology Specialists of Florida is seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to join its practice of 53 radiologists. With seven fellowship trained interventionalists on staff, we are looking for a team-oriented, highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the team. Our group has an exclusive agreement at 8 hospitals and 5 imaging centers. These facilities provide more than 1 million exams via a large referral base of more than 2000 medical staff.
We are seeking a full-time ABR certified Interventional Radiologist for a day position. Ideal candidate would be proficient in all interventional services and have a special interest in oncology. Interventional radiology CAQ is preferred.
The practice model is a sub-specialty based interpretations. The opportunity includes an extremely competitive base compensation, excellent professional liability coverage with no tail obligation, 10-12 weeks paid time off, health insurance for the physician and family, relocation and retirement.
