About Mammography Tech Jobs
Mammography is a system that produces breasts images using a low-dose x-ray system. Viewing of the images can be done in various formats such as film at a view box or on a digital mammography work station. Mammography plays an important role in early detection of breast cancers because it can show changes in breasts up to two years before it can be felt.
Current guidelines recommend mammography screening every year for women, beginning at age 40. However women who have had breast cancer and those who are at increased risk of breast cancer should seek expert medical advice when they should begin mammograms and about the frequency of screening. Partner track of 2 years.
Ball park salary is $285k first year, $330k second year, and $400 - 450k at Partner.
Vacation is a gradual increase starting at 6-8 weeks the first year, 8-10-weeks the second year, and 11 weeks at Partner.
Call schedule is 1:11 with Nighthawk starting at 10 pm.
