Mammography Tech jobs are regulated by the California Medical Board. Family HealthCare Network was the first freestanding ambulatory health care center in Tulare County to be accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Currently Family HealthCare Network has One Full-time Mammography Technologist position open.
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing all scheduled or unscheduled mammography studies, ordered by a licensed provider. Prepares patient for the examination, keeps supplies stocked, equipment at peak condition and prepares all paperwork associated with procedures. Operates mammography equipment, administers roentgen rays, develops films; maintains equipment and supplies, as needed.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements of registry by ARRT or CRT. License is required as issued by ARRT (National and/or CRT (State). It is desirable that membership be attained in professional organization advocating continuing education in radiology. Should keep current with continuing education courses. Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is very useful. Must have and maintain a current CPR card.
