About Mammography Tech Jobs
Mammography is a system that produces breasts images using a low-dose x-ray system. Viewing of the images can be done in various formats such as film at a view box or on a digital mammography work station. Mammography plays an important role in early detection of breast cancers because it can show changes in breasts up to two years before it can be felt.
Current guidelines recommend mammography screening every year for women, beginning at age 40. However women who have had breast cancer and those who are at increased risk of breast cancer should seek expert medical advice when they should begin mammograms and about the frequency of screening. Mammographer
Our client is looking for a Mammography Technologist with superior patient care skills and a passion for mammography. You will work a day shift (no call or weekends) in our busy Breast Health Center. We offer state of the art digital mammography and a staff of dedicated Breast Radiologists.
You will perform both diagnostic and screening mammograms in our beautiful suburban setting.
