MAMMOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST
Atlanta, GA
(Full-time, 8:30am – 5pm)
Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology, be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and be certified in Mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards. Must be qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or QC specific to mammography.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:
One-three years of experience in mammography, 1 year of experience in stereotactics and/or QC specific to mammography and certified in CPR.
