Job Description
Redwood Regional Medical Group (RRMG) currently has an opening for an Imaging Administrator reporting to the COO. The Imaging Administrator directs and coordinates activities of the Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Departments and the call center, comprised of approximately 75 employees. Assigns, schedules, and manages the work of medical imaging and related staff to maintain patient flow and to assure safe and effective patient care. Supports approximately 20 Radiologists. Oversees staff in operation of imaging equipment such as x-ray machines, sonography equipment, fluoroscope, CT (computerized tomography) scanner, or MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) equipment, evaluates accuracy and quality of images, and provides technical assistance. Assumes responsibility and accountability for fiscal management of the staff and related resources. Provides strategic development and implementation of new programs/services and collaborates with physician and departmental personnel.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in related field required * 8-10 years recent related management experience in a healthcare setting * Current AART Certificate * Must have demonstrated leadership strengths with the ability to create and maintain a collegial and team-oriented work environment.
