Winchester Medical Center, a 411-bed, non-profit hospital in Winchester, VA, is a regional referral center offering a broad spectrum of services that includes diagnostic, medical surgical and rehabilitative care. A level II trauma center, Wincherster Medical Center is a resource for 400,000 residents in a region known as the Top of Virginia, plus neighboring West Virgina and Maryland.

WMC is currently looking for a Full Time Imaging Tech to work the Day shift in our Mammography Department. Hours are 7am to 5pm with rotating weekends. The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications: 

  • ARRT (R) Registered or registry eligible with satisfactoy completion of an AMA accredited Radiology Technology program. Winchester Medical Center Medical Radiography Program students who have successfully completed 18 months of training may be considered eligible for hire as determined by the program director. Registry must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire. 
  • Competent in performing examination and procedures on patients of all ages. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development and competent in providing Radiologic Services for patients of all ages including neonate,  child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
  • Pass Criminal Background checks performed by both the VA State Police and another 3rd Party.
