About Mammography Tech Jobs
Mammography is a system that produces breasts images using a low-dose x-ray system. Viewing of the images can be done in various formats such as film at a view box or on a digital mammography work station. Mammography plays an important role in early detection of breast cancers because it can show changes in breasts up to two years before it can be felt.
Current guidelines recommend mammography screening every year for women, beginning at age 40. However women who have had breast cancer and those who are at increased risk of breast cancer should seek expert medical advice when they should begin mammograms and about the frequency of screening. Ultrasound Technologist
We invite you to join our Fresno Imaging Center's team as an Ultrasound Technologist. This career opportunity has a flexible schedule and is open to applicants looking for either full-time, part-time, or per-diem employment. Our multi-modality outpatient imaging facility provides a full spectrum of imaging procedures to the Fresno community. As a Sonographer you'll provide courteous and professional ultrasound exams on incoming patients, as well as assist in other modalities such as X-ray & Mammography.
We're looking for experienced candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient vascular, breast, general, OB, and small parts' ultrasound procedures. ARDMS certification, ARRT(R) and CPR certification, CRT, and great communication skills are also required.
