About MRI Jobs
Clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues can be made with MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). This test uses radiofrequency waves and a strong magnetic field rather than x-rays to provide images. The procedure helps diagnosing problems in all parts of the body. MRI is unique because it can also create detailed images of blood vessels without the use of contrast material. However there is a movement toward using special non-iodinated contrast material like gadolinium. Specialized equipment is used to perform a MRI. The conventional machine is a large cylinder magnet where a patient must lie still while the test is being preformed. (Source: radiologyinfo.com)

General with alot of IR or Mammo, or could subspecialize even more than 50%
General, Subspecialize, 1 year to partner 12- weeks vacation and days off during the week ,( total vacation 15-16 weeks) joint venture with several hospitals with low buy in for imaging centers. Group needs fellowship trained rads, 600k partners. 12 weeks vacation and 1 year to partner, days off during the week
2nd group.
This group of 18 has a few rads retiring. They are also experiencing increasing volume. They need an IR/General Diagnostic Radiologist, Mammo, or Nuclear The group has no call, they have nighthawks and pacs. You cover a 2nd shift 4-5 times a year, from 4-11 Monday-Sunday, with the next Monday off, that's it. Pacs and Nighthawks. General person will need most skills, CT, Ultrasound , MR, Body Imaging, Mammo and non vascular interventional is optional. Nuclear and Pet CT would be a plus.
12 weeks vacation 1 year to partner, all benefits, including 401k , pension and profit sharing, health , life, malpractice insurance included. Income for partners is around $650. Starting income is $400k. Very congenial group, excellent location, upscale area, Cover 1 hospital 848 beds, rated one of the top 100 hospitals for this size in the country. Lucrative opportunity to join in joint venture with the hospitals in the area to open 6 imaging centers. Very low affordable buy in.
Dayton Ohio is located 80 miles from Columbus Ohio, the state capital, and is also close to Cincinnatti. This is a large upscale growing city in Ohio ( population is 1 million,, with great schools, dining, and close enough to drive in for an Ohio State Football game)!
