About MRI Jobs
Clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues can be made with MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). This test uses radiofrequency waves and a strong magnetic field rather than x-rays to provide images. The procedure helps diagnosing problems in all parts of the body. MRI is unique because it can also create detailed images of blood vessels without the use of contrast material. However there is a movement toward using special non-iodinated contrast material like gadolinium. Specialized equipment is used to perform a MRI. California Coastal Position
A single specialty practice near the Monterey Bay of California, one of the most desirable places on the pacific coast, is looking for an interventional radiologist to join the 12 person group. The group is located in the pristine California valley area, close to many national parks and the coast. The group staffs three hospitals and two outpatient imaging centers, which they own. For a recent graduate, starting salary is about $300,000 with 8 weeks vacation and the partnership track is 2 years. They have PACS, Nighthawk and wonderful equipment. This is a very democratic group that has been in existence for over 30 years. They enjoy a very good relationship with each other and the hospital.
