About MRI Jobs
Clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues can be made with MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). This test uses radiofrequency waves and a strong magnetic field rather than x-rays to provide images. The procedure helps diagnosing problems in all parts of the body. MRI is unique because it can also create detailed images of blood vessels without the use of contrast material. However there is a movement toward using special non-iodinated contrast material like gadolinium. Specialized equipment is used to perform a MRI. DC Area Radiology Opening
A very large single-specialty group in the Baltimore-Washington area is looking to expand by adding on multiple partnership positions for radiologists with different backgrounds and skill sets. This is a very stable practice that has been around for over 40 years. They are currently looking for radiologists with training in interventional radiology, mammography, MR, neuro, and generalists. This large group staffs multiple hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers in the area. They own their own imaging centers and equipment and plan to invest $20 million in acquiring some of the latest technology. The partnership track is 1 year with partners having a base salary of $300,000 with bonuses paid quarterly based on the profitability of the group. The group also offers plenty of time off with 8 weeks of vacation.
