About MRI Jobs
Clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues can be made with MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). This test uses radiofrequency waves and a strong magnetic field rather than x-rays to provide images. The procedure helps diagnosing problems in all parts of the body. MRI is unique because it can also create detailed images of blood vessels without the use of contrast material. However there is a movement toward using special non-iodinated contrast material like gadolinium. Specialized equipment is used to perform a MRI. An individual with excellent clinical abilities is their number one priority. As a new radiologist in this private group you will be expected to do all modalities, but most of your time will be spent doing MR and CT. This is a partnership opportunity with partnership offered after one year. Call is 1:6. If you are on call, you have a choice to have Nighthawk turned on at 5PM or anytime up to 10 PM. Obviously, if you decide to turn it on later, you will be reimbursed accordingly. They have excellent equipment and PACS at all the locations they cover.
