About MRI Jobs
Clear and detailed pictures of internal organs and tissues can be made with MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). This test uses radiofrequency waves and a strong magnetic field rather than x-rays to provide images. The procedure helps diagnosing problems in all parts of the body. MRI is unique because it can also create detailed images of blood vessels without the use of contrast material. However there is a movement toward using special non-iodinated contrast material like gadolinium. Specialized equipment is used to perform a MRI. Kansas Mammo and Gen Dia Rad needed
A private practice in Kansas is looking for both a general diagnostic radiologist and a womens imager to help staff two hospitals and an outpatient imaging center. These are partnership track positions with a partnership track of 1year. The group will offer the starting physician about $400,000, benefits, a $10,000 CME allowance and 7 weeks vacation. The partners are making $500,000+ and taking 10 weeks of vacation. The group has PACS, voice recognition software and Nighthawk coverage is utilized. The group sponsors an outreach program designed to bring medical care to some of the under served, outlying communities. They are very dedicated to improving the value of health care in the community and looking for a physician that can identify with their principles.
