About Connecticut MRI Jobs
MRI jobs are regulated by the Connecticut Medical Board. Serving under the Connecticut Department of Health, the role of the Connecticut Medical Examining Board is to hear and decide matters concerning suspension or revocation of licensure, to adjudicate complaints against practitioners and to impose sanctions where appropriate.
Group of 19 radiologists is adding a Neuroradiologist, a Women's Imager and/or a Body Imager. They cover one 350-bed hospital and one 150-bed hospital, as well as several outpatient centers performing approximately 250K exams annually.
You can expect to perfom a high percentage of your sub-specialty with the balance in MR, CT, US and plain film. Equipment is state-of-the-art, and includes 3T and 1.5 MRI's; a 64, 32 and several 16-slice CT's. PACS is fully implemented. In addition to diagnostic Neuroradiology, the ideal candidate will be proficient in Spine and Pain Management procedures. Breast Imaging position includes: Diagnostic screening, Breast MR, Breast Biopsies and other procedures.
