A stable group of 7 radiologists are looking to add an additional radiologist. The group works out of one 270 bed hospital, a hospital owned imaging center and a cardiac/vascular center. They have a very low-none turnover rate and are looking to replace a group member that is retiring, plus they have an increase in their volume.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You can expect to do all modalities including Mammo and IR (US/CT guided biopsies, billiaries, GI/GU work, venous access, permacaths, declots, stents, venous PTA, venograms, and IVC filters. They are reading all modalities including: MR,MRA,CT,CTA, Body, MSK, Neuro,US (General/Vascular/OB), Nucs, PET, Plain films and Mammo (screenings, diagnostics, procedures).

Some of the equipment includes: 2- 1.5 GE Tesla MR's; 2- 32-slice and 16-slice CT scanners; mobile PET scanner on the weekends; Two GE angio suites, one of which is dedicated IR and the other is shared.

It is a general call pool of 1:7 via telerad. They are fully digital with PACS implemented throughout. If you take call you have the post call day off.

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS

The initial income is at least in the mid-$300K’s
Partnership tract is no more than two years
Six weeks vacation year one, Seven weeks vacation year two.

LOCATION

This city has been awarded the "All American City" It has a population of around 150,000 and encompasses two counties. It has a catchment area over 200,000. The city is about 45 minutes away from the state capital. There is a growing arts community. The city operates an Arts Center, a Children's Museum & Science Center, and a Community Theater at the Imperial Centre for Arts & Sciences.
