MRI and CT Supervisor


The Supervisor of MRI and CT is responsible for performing and overseeing high quality, safe MRI and Cat Scan imaging examinations for all ages, as ordered by physicians, and in accordance to established protocols. Also assists the DI Director with employee hiring, terminating, training, evaluating staff, and maintains smooth daily workflow. Coordinates schedules developed by staff teams and ensures they meet operational and financial parameter.

- Coordinates orientation activities for new employees; instruction and evaluation of students. - Accurate information is given to new employees and students concerning department policy and procedures. Assures that new employee checklist is completed.
- Assists in selection of new equipment.
- Coaches the employees in professional practice and technical duties for work improvement.
- Performs all functions related to MRI and CT procedures for patients.
- Expected to be an integral part of developing annual departmental budget.
- Perform quality improvement/control within department to ensure that equipment, images, staff adherence to protocols, etc. are accurately monitored and safe for patients and staff.

ARRT(MR)(CT) 2+ to 5 years of experience, AZ license

2-4 yrs exp as a MRI or CT Technologist
