As a Fairbanks Memorial Hospital employee, you’ll have the unique and exciting opportunity to explore the majestic landscape that Alaska offers its residents, in addition to receiving a sign on bonus, transitional housing and relocation assistance.

As the second largest city in Alaska, Fairbanks offers a wonderful blend of city amenities and frontier attitude. From the majestic scenery of Denali National Park, to winter sports including skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling, to local attractions offering everything from a symphony orchestra and fine arts, to sports teams and down-home fairs – there is something for everyone in Fairbanks.

With everything the area has to offer, the cost of living in Fairbanks still manages to compare favorably with many other cities. Even more, residents pay no state income tax and Alaskans who have resided in the state at least one calendar year are given an annual payment averaging $1,000 from Alaska’s Permanent Fund Dividend.

The MRI Lead Tech supports the Radiology Supervisor in the daily functions of assigned modalities, including coordinating employee work schedules and orientation and training to ensure quality patient exams are performed according to physician orders and facility protocols. The Lead Tech also performs prescribed MRI exams by following department/hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
