MRI TECHNOLOGIST

1. Certifications: ARRT - MR required.
2. Licensure: CA state license required.
3. Experience: Two years of experience at a minimum are needed.
4. Equipment/Procedures: You will be working on a Phillips Intera 1.5 with the latest software. Most of the exams will be spine and brain work, but should have knowledge of these other exams: profusion, diffusion, MRA's, spectospy, single vox and 3D, stealth imaging, strokes, and occasional cord compression.
5. Environment: This is a large university hospital. This is a busy trauma facility, plus this hospital also does research. You will be working in a multitude of areas and settings. You will never be working alone. You will work Monday through Friday with limited weekend coverage. You will work from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM on the overnight shift. There will be no Call with this position. Very nice housing provided within two to three miles of the hospital.
