MRI Technologist II

Performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex Magnetic Resonance procedures with little or no supervision, competently, utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field to achieve quality magnetic resonance images under a variety of conditions. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, MRI physics and image production. Assists in the identification and resolution of work process issues within the department. Provides feedback to Lead.

Requirements
High School Grad / GED plus graduate of formal program in Radiologic Technology. CRT and ARRT required. Venipuncture certification required. Minimum of 6 months experience in MRI with pediatric experience preferred. ARRT in MR. Applies the profession’s code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care. Bilingual skills desirable. BLS required.
