MRI Tech jobs are regulated by the Texas Medical Board. The Texas Medical Board is the state agency responsible for the licensure and discipline of Texas physicians (M.D.'s and D.O.'s). The Board's mission is to protect the public's health, safety, and welfare by regulating the practice of medicine and ensuring quality health care for the citizens of Texas. Must be a graduate of a CAHEA (Committee on Allied Health and Accreditation)
approved Radiology program. Must have six years of experience in MRI technology.
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in MRI.
Required Skills:
Must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of MRI equipment.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Anatomy and Physics.
Must be able to demonstrate computer skills in both word processing and data-base software.
Must be able to demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to demonstrate time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
