Lead MR/CT Technologist

Lead Technologist

MedQuest Associates, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novant Health, is a leading operator of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. With over 90 outpatient facilities across the nation, MedQuest centers provide high quality diagnostic imaging services using a variety of technologies including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography and general radiology.

Currently, we are seeking an experienced Lead Technologist for our Panama City, FL. territory.

The Lead Technologist will be responsible for all scanning functions of the imaging center. This responsibility includes staffing, operation and maintenance of equipment, training of other technologists, inventory and supply management and promoting positive morale. The Lead Tech will be responsible for the integration of scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. This responsibility includes completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience. The position consists of approximately 75% scanning responsibilities and 25% management responsibilities.

Qualified candidates must have:

5+ years of experience as a technologist working in multiple modalities
Certification in multiple specialties
Knowledge of procedures and standards
Skilled in operation of equipment
Customer service background and focus
Ability to network and recruit to gain new talent for the Centers
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registered and MRI & CT registered
Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
