Nuclear Medicine jobs are regulated by the Colorado Medical Board. The Colorado State Board of Medical Examiners is responsible for the regulation of physicians and physician assistants practicing in the state of Colorado under the Medical Practice Act. A group of 15 radiologists in one of the most desirable locations in Colorado is looking for a radiologist with a background in body imaging or interventional radiology. They are offering 10 weeks of vacation per year and a starting salary well above the national average. Full partnership will be offered at the end of the 2nd year. The call schedule is very manageable and can be taken at home via teleradiology.
The group has seen a significant increase in their share of the local market and anticipates even more growth in the future. To accommodate the increased demand they have constructed a brand new, state of the art outpatient center. Their equipment includes several 1.5 MR magnets, 3 CT units including a 16 slice unit, digital ultra sound, and fully integrated PACS.
This larger metro area enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year. It showcases numerous recreational activities including mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking. The public school system in this community is excellent and is the choice of most of the physicians in the group. The local high school competed in an international science test and finished first in the United States and third internationally. The economy is thriving and is supported by a strong university presence. There are two airports in the area that serve all the major airlines.
