Nuclear Medicine jobs are regulated by the Arkansas Medical Board. The mission of the Arkansas State Medical Board is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the people of the State of Arkansas with the goal that all citizens be provided with the highest quality health care. In order to meet this goal, the Board is empowered to license and regulate the practice of medicine, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and physician assistants in the state of Arkansas.
Major Southern Academic Institution has a need for a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist for their Radiology Division. The Department of Radiology has 45 clinical faculty and 34 residents and fellows.
Your caseload will include 100% Nuks both PET/CT and SPECT/CT Radiology cases.
The overall facility includes multiple hospitals and a separate clinic for pre-op workups. PACS is fully implemented. The equipment is all new (less than 2 years old) and state of the art.
