Kaweah Delta Health Care District has 3200 employees and 325+ physicians on active staff. The District, as a whole, currently operates 495 beds with another 87 opening in 2009 during Phase I of the north tower expansion, and another 48 during Phase II. All totaled the District will operate 630 beds. We offer state of the art facilities including a cancer center, imaging center, dialysis unit, SNF, assisted living, Alzheimer’s center, rehabilitation hospital, mental hospital, and outpatient surgery center. Our medical service area is over 500,000 and we will offer level III trauma services in 2009. Lastly, the medical center will be the first paperless hospital in the valley by 2010.
