John Stoddard Cancer Center, part of Iowa Health in Des Moines, Iowa, is searching for a radiation oncologist for an employment-based position. You will need to have clinical experience and a desire to work with the latest technology. You should have a robust breadth of knowledge and experience in many areas of radiation oncology as this is a full service department. You will need to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team as well as with 3 other radiation oncologists. Board certification is a requirement of this position.
The radiation oncology department is located in the John Stoddard Cancer Center and is on the campus of Iowa Methodist and Blank Children's Hospitals. Some of the equipment includes 3 Varian linear accelerators, full IMRT, HDR Brachytherapy, Mammosites, and an ample budget to add the latest technology.
You will receive a salary in the range of $400,000-$500,000 with a comprehensive benefits plan.
