About Radiation Oncology Jobs
Radiation oncologists (RO) are physicians that manage the care of cancer patients undergoing radiation treatment. Throughout the treatment plan, they monitor progress and adjust treatment if necessary to ensure patients obtain quality care. In addition to treatment, an important role of Radiation oncologists is to identify and treat any side effects from radiation therapy.
Radiation oncologist's training include four years of college, four years of medical school, one year of general medical training, then four years of residency training in radiation oncology.
