About Radiation Oncology Jobs
Radiation oncologists (RO) are physicians that manage the care of cancer patients undergoing radiation treatment. Throughout the treatment plan, they monitor progress and adjust treatment if necessary to ensure patients obtain quality care. In addition to treatment, an important role of Radiation oncologists is to identify and treat any side effects from radiation therapy.
Radiation oncologist's training include four years of college, four years of medical school, one year of general medical training, then four years of residency training in radiation oncology. Radiology Specialists of Florida is seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to join its practice of 53 radiologists. With seven fellowship trained interventionalists on staff, we are looking for a team-oriented, highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the team. Our group has an exclusive agreement at 8 hospitals and 5 imaging centers. These facilities provide more than 1 million exams via a large referral base of more than 2000 medical staff.
We are seeking a full-time ABR certified Interventional Radiologist for a day position. Ideal candidate would be proficient in all interventional services and have a special interest in oncology. Interventional radiology CAQ is preferred.
