Breast Imaging Radiologist

Breast Imaging Radiologist for Growing Group! Established 7+ person group looking to add a radiologist to their growing staff. Looking to bring on a Breast Imaging Fellowship Trained Radiologist for a very busy "Women's Diagnostic Center". The group does in excess of 20,000 mammograms per year, breast ultrasound, Hologic prone stereotactic table, vacuum assisted biopsy equipment for use with stereo, ultrasound and MRI. Mammography is all digital with Siemens equipment. Six of the radiologists regularly cover mammography. The additional radiologist will do 50-60% mammo and should be able to handle most if not all other modalities. The mammo trained rad should have the desire to lead up our mammography section. In a typical day, there are 2-3 biopsies, 10 dx mammograms and 70 or so screenings. The outpatient business has a GE 1.5T magnet and a .23T open. The group is opening a new center in January that will have a 1.2T open (Hitachi Oasis). That center will also have digital x-ray, ultrasound, DEXA and 16 slice CT. The primary office (where the .23T open is houses our women's center, a 64 slice CT, ultrasound, DEXA and r/f. We are completely digital with a Sectra PACS. We also work at a busy 280+ bed community hospital. Interventional work at the hospital is limited to drainages and biopsies for the most part. Sub-specialty trained rads in interventional, neuro, nuclear med, msk and body including cardiac.

The practice is busy in all locations that are staffed by this group.

Compensation & Benefits are Excellent-Salary depends on experience/fellowship training, plus insurance, malpractice including tail, CME allowance and 6 weeks vacation for the first year, medical, retirement. The position is a partnership track and the employee is eligible for that after one year.
