Nestled in a coastal region of North Carolina, you will find a delightful small town which needs a General Radiologist to staff a local hospital. This is a partnership job opportunity and the new physician will see all modalities including MRI, CT, Mammography, Nuclear, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and some plain films. This position has everything: great hours, excellent benefits, a very good starting salary, 13 weeks of vacation, PACS, and a minimal call schedule with Nighthawk taking over at 10 p.m. each evening. This group is a smaller group which recently separated from a larger group that held this contract several years. They cover one hospital and average 20,000 cases per radiologist per year. The area has been named one of “The 100 Best Small Towns in America” and known worldwide as the Harbor of Hospitality. It is a waterfront community that is centrally located on the eastern seaboard of the United States and it is located only 45 minutes from a major metropolitan area. Five of the areas twelve public schools have achieved the North Carolina Exemplary School status designation and the area has two universities for those wanting to further their own education.
