The oldest medical school in the state of Texas is seeking a Chief of Body Imaging Radiologist to join their established department of twenty-plus faculty members. The Department has an accredited and established residency and fellowship program. In addition to yo8ur clinical and teaching responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to pursue research interests.

This high tech practice offers the following:

Future plans for an advanced research icaging center with an Ultra-High Field MR-PET, High Field MR-PET whole body scanner, Multi-Target cyclotron and Animal imaging
PACS, PET/CT, two 64-slice CTs
Currently installing an open magnet on hospital campus and a full modality outpatient imaging center
Four 1.5 Tesla MRIs and a 3 Tesla MRI by 2008
One day a week dedicated to academics
Biosafety Level IV facility currently under construction – the first on an academic campus
Department has a formal relationship established with the Department of Radiology at the University of Sao Paulo in Sao Paulo, Brazil
Paid relocation up to $25,000
$1,500/month rent income for first six months
