MSK Radiologist, General Radiologist with Mammo
M2065-MSK Radiologist - Massachusetts
MSK Fellowship Trained Radiologist for well established 25+ Person Group! Well established, large group is looking to add a third MSK Fellowship Trained Radiologist (would consider practicing with a lot of MSK experience) to their staff. Can practice 50% MSK and other modalities, there is a separate group of Interventional Radiologists, so there would be minimal IR or non at all. You will have both clinical and academic duties since the group is based at a large medical facility, 625+ bed hospital and level 1 trauma center on teaching campus. State of the art equipment, Vitrea technology, developing a 3D lab for CT reconstructions, 4 fixed and 1 mobile MRI (Seimens 1.5T) and 5 CT units including 64 slice CT and CT fluoroscopy. The center also has PACS in place new EMR and voice recognition technology. Call-residents take call after midnight. Call doesn't include procedures, there is a separate group of rads who cover IR. Residents will also present during the evening shifts. There are evening and weekend shifts-weekends about 1 in 5 to 1 in 6 weekends. There is a 5 - midnight shift about once in every 8 - 10 weeks. Group members flexible in trading call schedules very congenial groupCompensation & Benefits-Excellent compensation, partnership track, 10 weeks vacation includes CME time, $5000 stipend a year, relocation up to $10000.00, 401K, after 12 months of employment-group contributes max allowed, group pays 75% of health & dental cost for family benefits, paid malpractice, LT & ST disability. M2020-General Radiologist with Mammo! Massachusetts!!
To join 2 (do IR) other Radiologists at a 100 bed hospital which will be expanding by adding a free standing oncology center. The facility is approximately 45 miles to Boston and is part of a very prestigious larger group of radiologists and facilities. Will be doing all modalities except nuclear and neuro, procedures include general radiology, ultrasound, CT, mammo and "basic" image guided drainages and biopsies. (Steriotactic Procedures a +). The practice includes a new 1.S T Espree MRI, 64 Detector Siemens CT, PACS and Digital Mammography. There are always 2 radiologists working at the same time. The group also has a nurse practitioner. Fellowship training is a plus. (Position is in Southbridge, MA, 45 miles West of Boston)
Enjoy a 4 1/2 day work week. Work every 4th weekend from 8AM to Noon. On call every 3rd weekend, but by beeper and maybe called into the hospital 3 times a year. There is really no call. Radiologist can also be involved in academics. This is an employed position. Salary $325K, bonus incentive target 15% (0-22%), 4 weeks vacation, (off)week between xmas-new year, 2 weeks CME time, medical, dental, malpractice, 403B Plan-practice puts in 15-18%, maximum $40K, etc.
