A large Arizona group is searching for an Interventional Radiologist or neuroradiologist for Phoenix. They staff three hospitals and four imaging centers in the city. This IR position is intended as 100% IR. Currently, it is covered by two individuals in the practice who do 23 weeks of call a year with the other periods covered by the IR capable diagnostic radiologists. This position would require covering multiple hospitals and having office hours to meet with patients. The group is in negotiation with a company that will be building an oncology hospital in the city to open in 2008 which would greatly increase the scope of IR services that the group would offer. Starting compensation is around $300,000+, with an $8,000 moving allowance and 8 weeks of vacation with a partnership track of two years. This practice is located in a beautiful area of Arizona with outstanding weather and excellent recreational opportunities. They are actively interviewing now.
