About North Carolina Radiology Physician Jobs
Radiology Physician jobs are regulated by the North Carolina Medical Board. The North Carolina Medical Board was established by the General Assembly “in order to properly regulate the practice of medicine and surgery for the benefit and protection of the people of North Carolina.” The practice of medicine is a privilege granted by the state. The North Carolina Medical Board, through efficient and dedicated organization, will license, monitor, discipline, educate, and when appropriate, rehabilitate physicians and mid-level practitioners to assure their fitness and competence in the service of the people of North Carolina. In fulfilling its mission, the Board will play a leading role in the ever-changing health care environment through dialogue with the public, the legislature, academia, and the medical community.
Nestled in the coastal plains region of North Carolina, you will find a delightful small town which needs a General Radiologist to staff a larger hospital. This is a partnership job opportunity and the new physician will see all modalities, including MRI, CT, Mammography, Nuclear, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and some basic Interventional. This position has it all; great hours, excellent benefits, a very good starting salary, 12 weeks of vacation, PACS, and a minimal call schedule with Nighthawk taking over at 10 pm each evening. This group is a well-established organization with over 35 years of service at the hospital. They cover a hospital and an imaging center across the street and the current members are very civic oriented. Being a short drive from two larger cities, this smaller community offers you the best of both worlds. You can feel safe raising your family in a warm, caring community and still be close to all of the big city amenities. Recreational opportunities are available for those who love the outdoors, include canoeing, boating, fishing, hunting, picnicking, camping, swimming, biking, jogging, and fossil and artifact hunting.
