Our brand NEW Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center located in the Daytona Beach, Florida area, is seeking to add to the team of radiologists to participate in its expanding program. Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center will be relocating to its new 277-bed facility in July, 2009 and is a member of the Adventist Health System.
We are aggressively seeking full-time ABR certified physicians in the following subspecialties:
* Interventional
* General Radiology
The practice model will be a physician led, hospital-employed, virtual private practice through a subsidiary of Florida Hospital. The opportunity includes an extremely competitive base compensation, increased reimbursement potential, excellent professional liability coverage with no tail obligation, 10-12 weeks paid time off, health insurance for the physician and family, relocation and retirement.
This opportunity would allow the flexibility of working in a suburban, community-based hospital and outpatient imaging center. It would also include night time teleradiology coverage. NOTES: Board Certification/Board Eligible Required. Florida state license preferred. Job will be performed in Hospital or Imaging Center. Our Hospital offers more than 400 physicians and 1,000 healthcare professionals who have the common goal of providing compassionate health care. Since introducing open-heart surgery to Volusia and Flagler counties in 1980, cardiovascular surgeons have performed more than 9,000 open-heart surgeries. In 1999 and 2000, Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial was named one of the top 100 cardiovascular hospitals in the nation by the HCIA-Sachs Institute. Other services include: Memorial Heart Institute Catheterization Lab, Diagnostics, Open Heart Surgery, Neurosurgery, a Cancer Care Center, IMRT, Birth Care Center-private suites, Diabetes & Wound Care Center, Home Health, Hospice, Emergency Department with 35,000 annual visits, and Surgery (Endoscopy and minimally invasive).
