Come join a growing radiology group with 80 radiologists and 12 out patient imaging centers in beautiful Denver! The Float Sonographer performs a variety of ultrasound procedures in a reasonable time frame utilizing various transducers and pulsed echo imaging equipment at our outpatient clinics. The float role is a full-time, benefit eligible position that floats to one of eight Invision Sally Jobe clinics in the Denver Metro area to perform various ultrasound exams.
Responsible for providing general ultrasound, ultrasound breast procedures, and vascular ultrasound exams using independent judgement to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and exceptional patient care. Demonstrates the cross section anatomy of normal/abnormal pathology demonstrated to provide for the diagnosis for the radiologist reading exams. Implements the knowledge of the bioeffects of diagnostic ultrasound as formulated by AIUM. Communicates and assists patients and physicians and collaborates with fellow employees. Prepares patient information and procedure results for interpretation.
Requires RDMS and graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
Candidate must have at least 2 years experience as a registered sonographer.
A combination of at least two registries of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular and/or Breast is required. 3 or 4 registries is preferred. BLS certificaiton is required.
Must have exceptional patient care skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
