Cath Lab/ Special Procedures

The Special Procedures Registered Lead Tech RT(R) is responsible for the performance of radiographic procedures by the application of ionization radiation or other diagnostic methods to produce radiographs as would be required under a variety of conditions on patient of all ages from adult to geriatric. Must have Knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology and medical terminology and should meet the following requirements:

Must have experience in cardiovascular/peripherial vascular intervention
Associates degree is required.
Two year of radiologic/imaging experience.
One Year special procedure lab experience.
Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Current BCLS certification.
